Community Cane Toppers
Thanks Adele Goulty for sharing these photos of a fab community endeavour. What a great idea, lucky kids!
Adele made up 2 clay boxes with templates, rolling pin, cloth, clay, slip and instructions. The families in her close in Chiddingfold took it in turn to take one of the boxes for their children to produce some cane toppers. Adele biscuit fired the pieces and then they came to her garage one family at a time to decorate them. Adele then then glazed and fired them.
They did some great pieces, there were 11 children all under the age of 11 years.
I’ve loved doing this with the children and all of us have said how much more we have got to know each other, so it has been at least one good thing to come out of covid! Adele x
