Raku firing with  Kathy Mason

Date: Sunday 8th June

Time: 13.30 – 16.30

Each to bring 2-bisc items, no plates or tiles.  At least one pot must be glazed and ready to fire with wiped bases, so the kiln can go on straight away, while we do the first firing we can discuss and prep the remaining.  Recommended clay is a grogged stoneware (Blue scava) or crank mix.

We currently have a large and fine crackle white glaze, a turquoise copper glaze and a clear.

Attendees will need to wear strong footwear, long sleeves, hair tied back, all for health and safety.  WSP will supply goggles and masks.
