Tradition and Innovation
30th October – 2nd November 2019 | Farnham Pottery
Clay Feast, brilliantly organised by WSP tutor Julia Quigley, aimed to play with the ambiguity of the words with a topsy-turvy event. It was a marvelous opportunity for a wide and diverse audience to explore the relationship between clay and food through hands on workshops making clay ‘food’, cooking in clay and preparing an ‘edible’ feast.

Heritage, history and ritual all stitched together is this wonderful community event.
Clay Feast reignited a once yearly tradition when clay diggers were paid and feasted at Farnham Castle.
