West Street Potters Award

West Street Potters provide an annual award to fund a clay-related activity for one current West Street Potters’ Member.

This might include the cost of a ticket to a Ceramic Festival, funding for participation in a particular ceramic-practice course, or some other similar activity.

Application Forms for next year will be available to download from the website and will also be emailed to Members in Spring 2024.

2020

The WSP award for 2020 has been presented to Alex Barto, Amel Gembidge and Eugenie Smit. Although it is uncertain when the workshops and courses they applied for will go ahead, it is hoped that they will be rescheduled so that they can take part in the future. We look forward to hearing that they have been able to attend.

2015

Our inaugural winner was Rachel Whitehead, whose successful application to attend a residential Raku course, with John Evans in East Sussex, enabled her to further her knowledge of this exciting firing process. Some of the work that Rachel produced was on display at our Winter Exhibition, Nov 2015.
