Drawing workshops in Majorca

Patrica who is an MA Ceramics student at UCA Farnham and friend of Jane Jones has asked me to share this with our members in case anyone is interested.

I wanted to update you on a drawing workshop that I am helping to organize this Easter in Majorca, called Drawing the City, which I think will be of interest to anyone with an interest in drawing, travelling, and having a sunny break from the cold. Perhaps you can circulate this among your contacts?

We thought this might interest them – otherwise perhaps they know anyone who would like to join 🙂 Feel free to forward. At the moment you get 20% off by making a double booking! That’s a week for two people at 880GBP! (Including accommodation)

The workshop is focused on drawing as a means to explore the urban character of the city. We have attached an e-flyer about the event (see below). We thought perhaps you would be interested in it – and wouldn’t mind sharing with your own contacts if you think this might interest someone you know.

Drawing the City is an enterprise in collaboration with the local council, and the Joan Miró Foundation in Palma de Majorca. It is aimed at encouraging culture-led tourism in Majorca, in contrast to the typical sun & beach combos to which the island is commonly associated.

Also, if you would like to be informed about our upcoming events, or have any further questions, feel free to get in touch at hello@drawingthecity.net, or follow us on Twitter @drawing_thecity. Also, you can like us on Facebook!

Very best wishes,

Mickey & Patricia
