Fantastic Raku Results
A superb Raku workshop at West Street Potters this weekend.
Special thanks to Alice (UCA MA student) who enlightened everyone with an astonishing process (bottom right of photo) involving dunking an unglazed fired pot in a bucket of 3 day fermented flour, water and yeast then immediately into clean water. Called Obvara, which is an ancient Baltic method of sealing an unglazed surface.
Fantastic results guys!
