Heritage Open Day – Thank You
A big thank you to members who turned up on Saturday to support the Heritage Open Day. An estimated 250 people turned up to visit the pottery and I think everyone was impressed by what they saw. It was especially thrilling for them to see ‘live’ pottery demonstrations, both hand-building and on the wheel. We received a lot of positive feedback and signed up some new members. A lot of local residents came along who had never set foot in the building, despite living so close by. They were very enthused to see such a thriving community of potters enjoying themselves.
The pot shop took £200. I will be distributing the money shortly. Any unsold pots have been wrapped and boxed and left by the coat pegs upstairs for you to collect ASAP please.
