Holybourne Theatre (Alton) – SLAVERY
On Monday 22 Sep 2014, 8:00PM at Holybourne theatre, we are very proud to present SLAVERY
by Nuworks, an Australian drama company that delivered a wonderful performance of ‘Midsummer nights dream ‘ two years ago at Holybourne Theatre. They are returning for one night only with Slavery.
Slavery is a mostly factual historical account of what became known as The Zong Massacre, an infamous legal case that went to trial in London in …1783. The Possible Dreams Choir, from Swaziland, form a backdrop to the action of the drama and sing throughout the play.
Do not miss the opportunity to see this drama company in action. You will be thrilled. Buy tickets from the Wool shop, Market Street, Alton, on the door or online ( see holybourne theatre facebook page or our website www.holybournetheatre.co.uk
I thought that you should know the true nature of “The Possible Dreams Choir” many of the members are orphans, or disabled or have HIV. They sing to raise funds for their local community. We will be making a donation to their cause. Their need is great.

After the performance you can meet the cast and choir members in The Queens Head where we will be going for a night cap.
Best wishes
