More bricks for ‘Another Brick in the Wall’ project
The ‘Another brick in the wall’ exhibition was buzzing with energy this weekend as visitors arrived to take part and make their own mark on an ibstock brick. Lena was on-site, a wonderful promoter of the whole project ….and it’s popularity meant she was running out of bricks to carve.
This is a community project by West Street Potter member Kep Nowson. Raw ibstock bricks have been changed through prodding, eroding, scraping, hollowing, carving and adding carved out clay to design. The bricks have been bisque-fired and are now displayed within the shop front of The Herald Shop in the Lion & Lamb courtyard in Farnham town from 1st October – 8th November 2020.
