Nikki Hoffman
Nikki first encountered ceramics – coiling, pinching, slab-building and sculpting at school aged 12. She has a 2:1 BA(hons) from Exeter College of Art, one of a few arts degrees with weekly figurative classes. By day a designer, Nikki spent evenings studying the figure from life and training under PhD/MA tutors (Royal College of Art, King’s Drawing School, Heatherleys, Central St Martins). She joined WSP in 2022, studying pottery under Julia Quigley and sculpture under Jane Jones, Nikki was appointed Sculpture Tutor in 2025. Nikki’s teaching practice specialises in the figure, encouraging a contemporary understanding of classical techniques
