Surrey ‘Love Food Hate Waste’ campaign
As a ‘Big Lunch’ organiser, we have be contacted by the Surrey ‘Love Food Hate Waste’ Campaign. They will be sending us information such as recipe cards, using ingredients made out from leftovers, with the intention to get people talking about what they do to reduce food waste, and share ideas with each other.
The Big Lunch is a fantastic place to highlight this campaign since it’s all about sustainability for the future.
Thre is a national Love Food Hate Waste (www.lovefoodhatewaste.com) campaign, which aims to raise awareness of the need to reduce food waste.
Surrey County Council is running a local version of the campaign – which can be found at www.lovefoodsurrey.com.
