WSP Award 2016

A reminder that applications are due by the end of February 2016 for this years award.  Don’t miss the opportunity to have a go at something new!

You may remember that last year we launched the West Street Potters’ Award which provides an annual award of up to £500 to fund a clay-related activity for one current West Street Potters’ Member.  This might include the cost of a ticket to a Ceramic Festival, funding for participation in a particular ceramic-practice course, or some other similar activity.

Our inaugural winner for 2015 was Rachel Whitehead, whose successful application to attend a residential Raku course with John Evans in East Sussex, enabled her to further her knowledge of this exciting firing process.  Photos and examples of the fantastic work she produced could be seen on display at our Winter Exhibition in November.

Applications are now invited from West Street Potters’ Members who wish to apply for this funding for 2016.  All applications must be received by the last day of February. The successful applicant will be notified in April.

The application form and terms are attached, or can be downloaded from the members tab on our website: www.weststreetpotters.co.uk/members
