Since being selected for the West Street Potters’ Award 2015, Rachel Whitehead has attending a 4-day course run by John Evans in Sussex to further her understanding and studies of Raku.

Rachel has given a big thank you to WSP for funding the alternative workshop. There is a display of some of the pieces she made in the glass cabinet and she plans to organise a talk to tell us all about her experience, so hopefully we can learn something too.
For anyone who is interested in applying for next years award, the closing date for applications will be the last day of February 2016. Application Forms will be available to download from the website and will also be emailed to Members in early January 2016.
